In conjunction wtih the annual Community Dinner to be held on November 2 at the Marshall White Center, there will be a collection of gently-used winter coats for distribution. Coats are needed for men, women, and children, all sizes. Please bring your contributions as soon as possible to the synagogue and place them in the designated box at the bottom of the stairs.
In addition to collecting used coats, “care kits” are also needed; we can do any amount that we wish. Items in the kit would include a toothbrush and toothpaste, body soap and shampoo, gloves and socks–can also add a treat such as a candy bar or a sleeve of crackers, and if for a child a small toy, book or crayons. We also just donate individual items. There will be another box at the bottom of the stairs in the synagogue for those items. Please make sure your items are at the synagogue no later than November 1st so they can be brought to the Marshall White center for the dinner on the 2nd.
